Speedy Striders Running Club

Flag Football (Fall 2023)

Huddle Up for Youth Flag Football with the Y!
This is an offsite league that will teach introductory flag football through the means of practice and gameplay! Volunteer coaches and Y staff teach values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Participants will receive a YMCA reversible jersey to wear each week for their game. 

COACHES NEEDED! The Fergus Falls YMCA relies heavily on volunteer coaches to provide leadership to our youth sports program. Volunteer opportunities are available to serve as coach, assistant coach, or team parent. Football knowledge is not as important as a love for children and the desire to help children succeed in a positive environment. The YMCA provides training for all coaches. All coaches are reference and background checked. Volunteer head coaches will receive ONE FREE child registration into the program and Assistance Head coach will receive 50% OFF one registration.

Youth Tee-Ball

Join us on the beautiful M-State ball fields for a summer of fun-filled tee ball! This league teaches introductory tee-ball skills and strategy through practices and games. Volunteer coaches and Y staff also offer character development skills including teamwork, good sportsmanship and the Y core values -- Caring, Respect, Responsibility and Honesty. Bring your own glove. All other equipment is provided.

Youth Volleyball Clinic 

Volleyball Clinic is a fun and active way for kids to experience volleyball while learning the game! Players will better develop basic volleyball skills as well as learn new, intermediate-level skills needed for the game. They will learn basic footwork and form, take on fun challenges, and learn how to work together as a team.
