The YMCA participates in the following insurance fitness discount programs:

Be advised that if you take part in ANY of the Insurance Fitness Discount programs, you must participate in our monthly bankdraft option and your membership can not be purchased with a coupon or certificate of any type. Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Dakota® Health Credits

For adults with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Dakota insurance. As a participant, you will need to workout at the YMCA a minimum of 12 days during the month for points to be credited into your account for up to 2 people per household. . Points are posted directly to your account via National Independent Health Club Association (NIHCA). Membership payments must be made using the bankdraft payment plan. Enroll online at http://nihcarewards.org/ or complete the BCBS of ND Enrollment form and bring in your insurance cards. 

BCBSND program is a 9-month program. This means that January - September are the only months BCBSND members will be rewarded for. If you feel that you should be reimbursed for past months, please contact the Y at 218-739-4489. Resubmission for previous months needs to be completed by October each year. BCBSND members must redeem their points by October 31st or they will be lost. Please contact your insurance company if you have questions.


HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program

This program is for adults with certain HealthPartners insurance policies. Participants must work out at the YMCA a minimum of 12 days during a month to qualify for a $20 refund (up to $40 per policy). Refunds are made directly to the member's checking or savings account through the processing company, National Independent Health Club Association (NIHCA).

To participate in the HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program, enroll online at http://nihcarewards.org/ or complete the HealthPartners Enrollment form. To participate in insurance reimbursement you must make monthly membership payments through automatic bankdraft .


Fit Choices®

For adults with Medica insurance. Pays $20 per month for 1 adult on the policy who has worked out a minimum of 8 or 12 days during the month (depending upon your policy). Refunds are made directly to the member’s checking account by Medica’s processing center, National Independent Health Club Association (NIHCA).
To take advantage of Fit Choices®, please enroll online at http://nihcarewards.org/ or complete the Medica Fit Choices Enrollment Form, the bankdraft payment option form and submit a copy of your insurance card.


PreferredOne®

As a participant, you will need to workout at minimum of 12 times a month to earn a $20 refund per month. This policy will pay up to $40 a month if you have a covered dependent that also works out 12 times a month. Note: Eligible members are defined as having a PreferredOne Insurance Company or PreferredOne Community Health Plan ID card. If you have a PreferredOne Administrative Services ID card, eligibility and program details may vary. Short Term Medical plan members are not eligible for Fitness Advantage. To take advantage of this program, you will need to enroll online at http://nihcarewards.org/ or complete the PreferredOne Enrollment Form and take advantage of the bankdraft payment option and provide us with a copy of your insurance card(s).


Silver & Fit®

Check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify for this supplemental program. Participants of Silver & Fit do not pay membership dues to the YMCA and no minimum visits are required. An annual member fee may be assessed by Silver & Fit. This annual fee varies from insurance policy to insurance policy and is to be paid to the YMCA at the time of your enrollment, if applicable.

Silver & Fit participants can only be enrolled at one facility at a time and it is the member's responsibility to "cancel/change" their club affiliation by contacting Silver & Fit directly by calling 1-877-329-2746. Silver&Fit memberships are not eligible for participation in YMCA Nationwide Membership.


SilverSneakers® Fitness Program

For seniors with select Medicare supplemental insurance policies. This program pays the YMCA each time a SilverSneakers member visits. No minimum visits are required. To take advantage of the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, you will need to come in to the YMCA to verify for eligibility, complete an application and submit a copy of your insurance card.

Silver Sneakers participants have unlimited access to any facility or program offering Silver Sneakers. Enrollment at each facility is required. Silver Sneakers memberships are not eligible for participation in YMCA Nationwide Membership.


UCare

Eligible UCare members can receive a discount of up to $20 in their YMCA membership dues each month by reimbursement to their bank account.

Enroll online at http://nihcarewards.org/ or fill out the UCare MN enrollment form and provide a copy of your insurance card to YMCA Member Services. Membership dues must be paid through automatic bankdraft.


Sanford Health Plan®

Eligible participants can receive up to $20 per month reimbursement with 12 workouts a month. A covered spouse on this plan can also earn $20 per month for a total reimbursement of $40 for the family. Enroll to participate online at http://nihcarewards.org/. Membership dues must be paid monthly through automatic bankdraft.
