S.A.I.L. (Staying Active and Independent for Life)

Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a strength, balance and fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance and fitness is the single most important activity adults can do to stay active and reduce their chances of falling. The entire curriculum of activities in the Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) program can help improve strength and balance, if done regularly. The class consists of 24 one-hour long sessions. Participants must commit to at least 16 of the 24 sessions to register. Free for YMCA members AND Non-Members.

Candlelight Restorative Yoga 

  •  May 7th
    • 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Please join Tam in this restorative practice. 
    • Deep breathing, intention setting and supported postures.
    • Please dress in warm layers, wear a pair of cozy socks and bring a pillow and blanket to this practice. We are going to settle in, get comfortable and stay awhile.

Board Game Extravaganza!

  • Saturday, May 11th 
    • 10:30 am - 12:30 pm 
    • Bring your friends and family or arrive solo for board gaming fun!  All ages and levels of players are welcome. 
    • Tables will be set up according to interests and experience.

Mental Health and Social Media 

  • Monday, May 13th, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm 
    • Aaron Cadayong with be joining us to talk about social media and how it affects our mental health. 
    • Refreshments will be served
    • Child watch is available until 8:00 pm (please pre-register)
