Emily graduated with a degree in Exercise Science: Fitness Specialist from Liberty University in 2017. She received her master's degree in 2019 in Strategic Communications. Emily is fueled by her passion for exercise and fitness. Emily is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine in which she received her certification as an Exercise Physiologist.
Emily has been a personal trainer since 2016 at her local YMCA where she previously lived until coming to Fergus Falls and joining our staff in 2019. Emily is not only a personal trainer but also a group exercise instructor. She strived to help others be the best they can be in all aspects of life. Her passion for sports has led her to enjoy sport-specific training as well as high-intensity training. Emily's main goal is to help others expand their knowledge in training, exercise, and overall health and wellness.
When she's not exercising, you can find her spending time with family and friends, enjoying local coffee shops, coaching basketball, and relaxing with her husband, Jason, and their puppy, Hank.
Emma has had a strong passion for fitness since she started working out years ago. After years of working out at the YMCA, she decided to take her passion further and became ISSA certified. She is not able to help others learn proper form and techniques, and able to help find a routine that works best for her clients' individual schedules and lifestyles. She loves anything that is fitness orientated: biking the Central Lakes Trail, strength training, and walking/running are a few of her favorites. Emma continues to expand her knowledge on everything health and fitness, so she is able to provide her clients with the most effective and up-to-date fitness programs.
