The Fergus Falls Area Family YMCA opened the doors on Wednesday, June 17. We have been asked to close again beginning Saturday, November 21-Friday, December 18 as per Governor Walz's Dial Back executive order. Click the link below to read our most recent member update email on the YMCA's status.
We will be drafting the membership dues for December 2020 in hopes that our members will continue to support the YMCA through the closure.
All December dues that draft will be automatically converted into a donation for 2020. If you would like documentation of this donation or wish to convert your April and May 2020 dues into a donation, please complete this online form.
We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging in many ways and understand that not everyone will be able to support the YMCA throughout this second closure. If you would like to place your membership on hold for the month of December, you can do so free of charge by completing this online form. If you would like your membership held longer than December, you can opt for our standard hold for a fee of $5 per month. Please use the same form mentioned just above.
Memberships that are paid in full on an annual or short term basis can be extended by putting the membership on hold and paying the $5/month fee.
We hope you will thoughtfully consider all of your options for your YMCA membership. However, if you wish to cancel your membership, please email membership@fergusfallsymca.org by November 28th. (The standard cancellation policy has been amended in this situation and the timeline has been extended to November 28, 2020) Cancellations received after November 28 may be charged the December membership dues in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Several of our fall/winter programs have been canceled or altered due to COVID-19 and physical distancing requirements of 6 feet. We plan to provide refunds to families for program session dates that are canceled due to COVID-19. Please check back for more information on fall programs.
During this challenging period, your commitment to the Y is needed more than ever. If you would like to provide support or help us share this message with others, please click here to our giving page.
