Insurance Programs

The YMCA participates in the following insurance fitness discount programs.

Be advised that if you take part in ANY of the Insurance Fitness Discount programs, you must participate in our monthly bankdraft option and your membership can not be purchased with a coupon or certificate of any type.

BluePrint for Health®
For adults with certain Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota policies. Participant must work out at the YMCA a minimum of 12 (for most plans) days during a month to qualify for a $20 refund (up to $40 per policy). Reimbursements are made directly to the member's checking or savings account through our processing company, Vanco Services Inc.

To take advantage of the BluePrint for Health® program, you will need to complete, and bring in, the completedBCBS Enrollment Form along with a copy of your insurance card. Be advised that to take advantage of the BluePrint for Health®, you will have to take part in our bankdraft payment option.


Fit Choices®
For adults with Medica insurance. Pays $20 per month for 1 adult on the policy who has worked out a minimum of 8 or 12 days during the month (depending upon your policy). Refunds are made directly to the member’s checking account by Medica’s processing center, Vanco Services Inc.

To take advantage of Fit Choices®, you will need to complete theMedica Fit Choices Enrollment Form, the bankdraft payment option form and a copy of your insurance card.


HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program
This program is for adults with certain HealthPartners insurance policies. Participants must work out at the YMCA a minimum of 12 days during a month to qualify for a $20 refund (up to $40 per policy). Refunds are made directly to the member's checking or savings account through the processing company, Vanco Services Inc.

To participate in the HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program, you must complete the HealthPartners Enrollment form and participate in the YMCA's bankdraft payment plan and bring in a copy of your Insurance Card.


SilverSneakers® Fitness Program
For seniors with Medicare supplemental insurance policies through Medica Prime Solution, Dual Solution or Advantage, Blue Cross/Blue Shield Platinum Blue or Humana MN Gold Choice. This program pays the YMCA each time a SilverSneaker card is swiped (up to 12 times maximum). No minimum visits are required. Includes free participation in the SilverSneaker fitness class.

To take advantage of the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, you will need to come in to the YMCA.


Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Dakota® Health Credits
For adults with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Dakota insurance. Pays $20 per month for up to 2 people per household. Subscriber plus the subscribers spouse on the policy only, who have worked out a minimum of 12 days during the month (Up to $40) per policy). Refunds are posted directly to your account via Vanco Services Inc. Membership payments must be made using the bank draft payment plan. Complete the BCBS of ND Enrollment form and bring in your insurance cards.

UCare of Minnesota®
The UCan! UCare Activity Network is a fitness program for UC subscribers who are Senior members of the Fergus Falls Area Family YMCA. Participants of this plan who work out at least 8 times per month at the Y can receive a $20 refund each month which will be automatically deposited into your account via Vanco Services Inc. UCare for Seniors member ID cards will have a UCan! Logo on the bottom left of the card.

ActiveU is for our MSHO, Connect, and/orComplete members and has a 1 visit requirement. The eligible member should bring in with them a blue participation for filled out except for their signature. UCare will pay for the health club membership up to $60/month. UCare MSHO, Connect and Complete member ID cards will have a ActiveU logo on the bottom left of the card.
To Participate, complete the UCARE Enrollment Form and the Bank Draft Authorization Form and bring in with your insurance cards.
