Membership Rates & Payment Options

MEMBERSHIP DUES can be paid all at once or monthly through our bankdraft program. The YMCA does not offer special student or senior rates and membership are for 1 year. Those wishing to purchase a membership for a limited number of months may do so at a higher monthly rate than our annual bankdraft option. The YMCA also accepts several insurance programs that offer members a reimbursement on their membership if they visit a YMCA a certain number of times each month.

Not a Member? Just in town for a day or two? That's ok! Buy a Day Pass and enjoy all that our facility has to offer!

Prices are as follows:
Youth (ages 7-14): $6.00
Young Adult (ages 19-22): $9.00
Adults (ages 23-61) & Senior Citizens: $15.00
Couples (2 adults): $18.00
Family: $18.00

A portion of your Membership Dues goes to maintaining the facility for all members’ enjoyment and safety.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
ANNUAL FULL PAY: Payment made in full using cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.

ANNUAL BANK DRAFT PLAN: Your annual membership can be made in monthly payments through our automatic bank draft withdrawal plan. At the time of purchase, you will be required to pay a prorated amount to the 15th and your first month fee. Subsequent payments are automatically deducted from your bank account beginning the 15th of the following month. A bank draft is a 12-month membership. The bank draft automatically renews for another full 12 months on your YMCA membership anniversary date. A $50 early termination fee will be charged if this commitment is not fulfilled.
Choosing to cancel a membership must be done in writing by the 8th of the month. Cancelling AFTER the 8th of the month will result in the membership not being cancelled until the following month and will still incur the $50 early termination fee. Cancellation may be made by coming into the YMCA and signing a cancellation form or by sending a letter to the YMCA. If for any reason a membership bank draft is not honored by your bank for any reason, you will still be responsible for that payment, plus the posted service fee (currently $30.00). This is in addition to any service fee my bank may apply. It is the member's responsibility to check their bank statement on a regular basis to make sure the YMCA membership rate being withdrawn is correct. The Fergus Falls Area Family YMCA will accept a maximum of three (3) months responsibility if the YMCA is in error.

You will need to complete a Bank Draft Authoriztion Form which may be downloaded from this site, or be picked up at the front desk. We will need the completed form along with a voided check copy.

MONTHLY SHORT-TERM: This is a short term membership that expires after one month. It can be renewed on a month-by-month basis, or members may purchase more than one month at one time.

DAY PASS: Paid daily for use of facility.

CLASS REGISTRATION: Participants are considered registered when paid in full. All participants must be registered by the first day of class. The final day to register will be the Friday before the program starts. Anyone wishing to register after a program has started will be asked to register for the next session. Please don’t cause a cancellation. Register early!

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Minimum class size varies according to the type of class. The YMCA reserves the right to cancel a class if registration quotas are not met. Please do not cause a cancellation! Nothing hurts a good program quicker than everyone waiting until the last minute to register. If there aren’t enough registrants, the class has to be cancelled. Showing up on the day the class was supposed to start will not reinstate a cancelled class.

REFUND POLICY: Refunds can only be given if the Y cancels or reschedules a class. Credit cannot be given for individual classes missed. These classes must be staffed to accommodate the enrolled person whether or not he or she attends class. Credit slips will be issued for an extended verified illness and classes cancelled due to weather.


REPLACEMENT MEMBERSHIP CARDS: Report lost or stolen cards as soon as possible. There is a $5.00 fee for card replacement.
