Insurance Reimbursement

The YMCA participates in the following insurance fitness discount programs.

Be advised that if you take part in ANY of the Insurance Fitness Discount programs, you must participate in our monthly bankdraft option and your membership can not be purchased with a coupon or certificate of any type. Additionally, we must have completed and signed enrollment forms along with copies of insurance cards AND banking information (for the reimbursement) in order to complete the enrollment process.

BluePrint for Health®

For adults with certain Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota policies. As a participant, you will need to workout at the YMCA a minimum of 12 (for most plans) days during a month to qualify for a $20 refund (up to $40 per policy). Reimbursements are made directly to the member's checking or savings account through our processing company, Vanco Services Inc.

To take advantage of the BluePrint for Health® program, you will need to complete, and bring in, the completed BCBS Enrollment Form along with a copy of your insurance card. Be advised that to take advantage of the BluePrint for Health®, you will have to take part in our bankdraft payment option.


Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Dakota® Health Credits

For adults with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Dakota insurance. As a participant, you will need to workout at the YMCA a minimum of 12 days during the month for a $20 refund per month for up to 2 people per household. Some policies may pay up to $40 per policy. Refunds are posted directly to your account via Vanco Services Inc. Membership payments must be made using the bankdraft payment plan. Complete the BCBS of ND Enrollment form and bring in your insurance cards.


HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program

This program is for adults with certain HealthPartners insurance policies. Participants must work out at the YMCA a minimum of 12 days during a month to qualify for a $20 refund (up to $40 per policy). Refunds are made directly to the member's checking or savings account through the processing company, Vanco Services Inc.

To participate in the HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program, you must complete the HealthPartners Enrollment form and participate in the YMCA's bankdraft payment plan and bring in a copy of your Insurance Card.


Fit Choices®

For adults with Medica insurance. Pays $20 per month for 1 adult on the policy who has worked out a minimum of 8 or 12 days during the month (depending upon your policy). Refunds are made directly to the member’s checking account by Medica’s processing center, Vanco Services Inc.
To take advantage of Fit Choices®, you will need to complete the Medica Fit Choices Enrollment Form, the bankdraft payment option form and submit a copy of your insurance card.


PreferredOne®

As a participant, you will need to workout at minimum of 12 times a month to earn a $20 refund per month. This policy will pay up to $40 a month if you have a covered dependent that also works out 12 times a month. Note: Eligible members are defined as having a PreferredOne Insurance Company or PreferredOne Community Health Plan ID card. If you have a PreferredOne Administrative Services ID card, eligibility and program details may vary. Short Term Medical plan members are not eligible for Fitness Advantage. To take advantage of this program, you will need to complete the PreferredOne Enrollment Form and take advantage of the bankdraft payment option and provide us with a copy of your insurance card(s).


Silver & Fit®

Check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify for this supplemental program. Participants of Silver & Fit do not pay membership dues to the YMCA and no minimum visits are required. An annual member fee is assessed by Silver & Fit at the time of your enrollment at the YMCA. This annual fee varies from insurance policy to insurance policy, therefore you must come into the YMCA to have your eligibility verified. The annual fee must be paid directly to Silver and Fit.

Silver & Fit participants can only be enrolled at one facility at a time and it is the member's responsibility to "cancel/change" their club affiliation by contacting Silver & Fit directly by calling 1-877-329-2746


SilverSneakers® Fitness Program

For seniors with select Medicare supplemental insurance policies. This program pays the YMCA each time a SilverSneakers card is swiped (up to 12 times maximum). No minimum visits are required. This also includes free participation in the SilverSneakers fitness classes.

To take advantage of the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, you will need to come in to the YMCA to verify for eligibility, complete an application and submit a copy of your insurance card.


UCare

Eligible UCare members can receive a discount of up to $20 in their YMCA membership dues each month by reimbursement to their bank account.

To qualify, simply show your UCare ID card when you sign up at a participating location, fill out the UCare MN enrollment form and the bankdraft form.


Vitality®

This program is a rewards program that qualifying members enroll in online. The Members accumulate their visits in exchange for incentive prizes from Humana. The Y will submit visits monthly to Humana for each member.
